Increase bat speed and barrel control with the all-new Lizard Skins Standard & Flared Bat Taper. Bat tapers serve multiple purposes, they increase bat speed and control while reducing stress on the palm and fingers, and decrease hand injuries from swinging. Most metal bats come with tapers under the grip and can be destroyed when the original grip tape is removed. Lizard Skins Bat Tapers can replace an old taper or be placed onto a metal/ composite bat without a taper.

Lizard Skins Tapers are available in two styles: Standard or Flared. The Standard taper offers a modest taper, while the Flared taper offers a more aggressive taper that imitates the feel of a wood bat. Both tapers cover the full width of the bottom hand and include double sided adhesive tape to eliminate slipping under the grip. Lizard Skins bat tapers are designed to be installed under the bat grip for improved bat control.
